Home SPA - relaxation in the comfort of your home

Home SPA is a great way to relax and regenerate without having to leave home. In the daily rush, we often forget about ourselves and our own well-being, so it is worth finding a moment to relax and take care of your body. Such rituals not only improve the appearance of the skin, hair and nails, but also allow for a moment of peace and stress reduction. To create the perfect SPA in your own home, all you need to do is properly prepare the space, focus on care and ensure a relaxing atmosphere.

WHY IS IT WORTH CREATING A HOME SPA?

Everyone deserves a moment of relaxation in the SPA from time to time. A relaxing bath, a pleasant massage, sensual scents and a romantic atmosphere are something that will allow you to relax your body and soul, regain balance and harmony. You don't have to go to a professional SPA & Wellness salon and spend money on relaxing treatments, you can treat yourself to them in the comfort of your home. All you need is an hour of free time and a few fragrant Orientana cosmetics .

HOW TO CREATE A HOME SPA?

A SPA in the comfort of your home cannot be complete without two most important treatments: a bath and a massage. A relaxing bath surrounded by candles and to the sounds of atmospheric music will cleanse and relax the body, as well as calm the mind, soothe and improve the mood. Massage, in turn, will nourish the skin, firm it, improve blood circulation and help regenerate. In addition, depending on your needs, you can also add other treatments using natural cosmetics or those made by yourself, e.g. peeling, a mixture of oils, masks.

Preparing the space

To fully enjoy your home SPA, it is worth taking care of the right atmosphere. It is best to choose a place where you can relax and cut yourself off from the daily hustle and bustle. The most frequently chosen space is the bathroom, but you can also prepare the bedroom or living room as a relaxation zone.

Light is key – it is best if it is warm and soft. You can use candles, LED lamps or lanterns, which will introduce a pleasant aura. An additional element can be aromatherapy – essential oils with the scent of lavender, sandalwood or citrus will help you relax and introduce the atmosphere of a luxurious SPA. Music also plays an important role – gentle sounds of nature, classical relaxation music or calm instrumental melodies will allow you to enter an even deeper state of relaxation.

You can't forget about comfortable accessories, such as a soft bathrobe, fluffy towels or warm socks. For full comfort, it is worth preparing a relaxing drink, e.g. herbal tea, water with lemon and mint or a homemade fruit-based cocktail.

Skin and hair preparation

Before starting deep care, it is worth cleansing the skin of the face and body. Make-up removal is crucial for cosmetics to work effectively. You can use a make-up removal oil and then wash your face with a mild gel. The next step is a face and body scrub, which will remove dead skin and prepare the skin for the next stages of care.

Similarly, it is worth preparing your hair. Before bathing, you can apply oil to your hair, such as Ayurvedic Therapy or Amla Oil, to moisturize and strengthen it. After about 40 minutes, you can proceed to washing your hair,

A relaxing bath

Bathing is one of the most important elements of a home SPA. The water should be at a temperature of around 37-39°C to relax the muscles and provide relaxation. You can add bath salts, milk and honey or a few drops of Orientana oil.

During your bath, it is worth taking the time to relax – you can turn on some calming music, light some candles and close your eyes, giving in to the relaxing sounds. Another good option is reading a book or practicing breathing techniques that will help calm your mind.

WHICH AYURVEDIC COSMETICS WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN?

If you want to take care of your skin during your home SPA, after removing your make-up you should start with a deep cleansing - you can do this with a peeling made by yourself. Add olive oil to fine sugar and massage your face. After cleansing the skin, it's time for your favorite tonic and proper hydration and nourishment - apply Rose and Pandan Tonic to the skin and after absorption Rose Face Oil. Spread the oil slowly with gentle, circular movements. Such a massage will stimulate microcirculation and elasticize and strengthen the skin. Do not wash it off, perform the massage and enjoy the moment.

You can also apply a mask when your face skin is warm after bathing and more receptive to absorbing active ingredients. You can make a moisturizing mask with honey and yogurt, a nourishing one based on oils or a cleansing one with clay.

WHICH AYURVEDIC COSMETICS WILL TAKE CARE OF THE BODY?

To take care of your body in your home SPA, it is worth reaching for Ayurvedic cosmetics for skin care such as butters, balms or oils after bathing. We recommend, for example, lemon grass butter or natural Indian jasmine body oil. It is best to massage such a cosmetic into the body right after bathing, when the skin is still warm and slightly damp, while performing slow, harmonious movements. This will relax tense muscles and stimulate the skin for intensive renewal. You can also use Breast Oil and its beautiful scent will accompany you for longer.

An additional element of a home SPA can be a full-body massage. You can use Indian Jasmine or coconut oil for this and massage your hands, feet or neck, which will help relax tense muscles and improve circulation.

HOW DO AYURVEDIC COSMETICS CARE FOR THE SENSES?

Ayurvedic cosmetics have the advantage that they not only nourish and regenerate the body, but also have an aromatherapeutic effect on the soul, i.e. they soothe the nerves, calm down and introduce a state of blissful peace. This is facilitated by extraordinary, oriental scents:

  • the soothing aroma of Indian jasmine
  • sensual aroma of sandalwood
  • the calming scent of Japanese rose

The scents of Ayurvedic cosmetics last for quite a long time, spreading a relaxing aura around us and taking care of our positive mood.

Relaxation after care

After finishing your care, it is worth giving yourself a moment to rest. It is worth putting on a comfortable robe, sitting on the couch or in bed and enjoying the peace. You can drink tea, listen to music, read a book or simply close your eyes and focus on your breathing.

Home SPA in express version

If you don't have time for a full SPA ritual, you can use a shortened version. Just take a quick relaxing shower with a scrub, apply a face mask and an aromatic body lotion. You can also do a hand and foot massage and drink herbal tea to feel relaxed in a short time.

Home SPA is a great way to regenerate your body and mind. Regular care rituals help maintain a healthy appearance of your skin and hair, and also bring relaxation and reduce stress. The key to an effective home SPA is to properly prepare the space, carefully select cosmetics and focus on a moment for yourself. Regardless of whether you choose a full ritual or an express version, your body and mind will be grateful for this time of relaxation. And remember - you have the right to rest!
