Panax Ginseng Root Extract – Korean ginseng extract. This plant is one of the most well-known adaptogens, i.e. it helps strengthen immunity to external factors and reduce the effects of stress. It contains ginsenosides – a group of about 30 compounds with the nature of triterpene saponins, also called panaxosides. From a chemical point of view, ginsenosides are glycosides – this means that they consist of two parts: non-sugar (so-called aglycone) and sugar (most often it is simply a glucose molecule). Such a specific structure of these substances ensures their biological activity and high bioavailability. Ginseng extract is also rich in micro- and macroelements and vitamins – including B vitamins, vitamin C, E and PP. Regular use of cosmetics with ginseng extract visibly supports skin regeneration processes and slows down its aging processes. Studies have shown that skin care products containing 2% ginseng extract help protect collagen fibers from degradation. The extract is also rich in polysaccharides and phenolic compounds, which are responsible for antioxidant and skin protection against sun damage;
